What does the tour involve?

Just over two hours West of London, this whole city is so beautiful and historic that it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in its entirety. Its two Universities give it a youthful vibrancy, but it is the history and architecture that catches the eye. Sat on the river Avon at the foot of the Mendip Hills, it has the most complete set of (working) Roman baths in Europe, and an array of beautiful Georgian buildings that were the height of fashion in the days of Jane Austen.

The Roman Baths providing a fascinating insight into the life and times of the Romans in Britain and you can taste its health-giving waters
The elegant Georgian architecture (early 1700s to early 1800s) of townhouses, squares, and civic buildings. They are the backdrop for much of the Bridgerton series on Netflix, and countless other TV and film scenes.
The 500 year old Abbey in the central plaza.
The Jane Austen centre. Jane lived for a while in Bath and wrote about the hectic social life she observed there. Both Catherine Morland (Northanger Abbey) and Anne Elliot (Persuasion) walked the same streets.
The dozens of award-winning pubs, restaurants and tearooms. Look out for the Bath Bun, a local delicacy.
The Royal Crescent – an impossibly beautiful architectural marvel, overlooking swathes of English countryside.
